Pediatrician ICU Heart Surgery
This unit was founded in 1999 and has 6 ICU and 2 post ICU beds. It benefits from cardiovascular surgeons, cardiology pediatrics and anesthesiologists. It is also equipped with all advanced equipments specialized for pediatrics. Anesthesiologists, present, in all 24 hours a day offers its services to the following group of patients:
- Children with congenital cardiovascular diseases, valves problems, heart failure
- Cardiomyopathy cases who require special care and medications
- Children who have had catheterization of the right and left side or trans catheter procedures or Balloon valvuloplasty
- Cardiorespiratory resuscitation
Patient Admission
Patients are admitted at all times thorough cardiology pediatric clinic or emergency department under supervision of present anesthesiologist . Parents are permitted to stay according to hospital regulations.
