Coronary Catheterization Special Care Ward (Post Cath)
This section is located on the 2nd floor next to ICU and surgery wards with 14 beds available. It is under the supervision of cardiovascular department. This ward is equipped with up to date equipments such as cardiac monitoring systems, resuscitation equipments and can offer the following services :
- Pre and post care of diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Care and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in special cases
- Post catheterization preparation for cardiovascular surgeries
- Cardio respiratory resuscitation
Patient Admission
Patients are admitted to the unit from cath lab,emergency department and medical – surgical units.
