Hospital Nutrition Service:
This section is founded to offer a comprehensive approach to the following services:
- Collection, classification and analysis of the information and data needed for health and safety care in different section of hospitals
- Recognition, classification of the priorities and needs in the hospital area
- Suggestions and selection of the new practical methods for planning and qualitative and quantitative development of health measures in hospital
- Supervision and implementation of health standards ,guidelines, action plans, and regulations
- Coordination and organization of the health committee and infection control committee
- Assessment and evaluation of the hospital air conditioning system
- Qualitative assessment and control of hospital water reservoir
- Supervision and hygienic assessment of the collection & separation, transfer and temporary storage of hospital waste products and disposals
- Sampling of the sewage system based on the guidelines in order to evaluate the quality of refinement system
- Insect and rodent control with special care given to waste disposal deploying fundamental chemical methods
- Supervision of provision and application of cleaning substances
- Supervision of laundry services and & infection control
- Health supervision on the kitchen, freezers, food depot, wash room, Wc and kitchen staff
- Supervision of the health certificates being issued for kitchen personnel, training certificates and health files for the personnel
- Preparation and submission of the articles and education of public and personal health
- General supervision and health control in all hospital departments
