Department of Intensive Care:
This division , located on the second floor of the hopsital with 7 beds, and supported by specific expertise of specialists, and highly trained personnel provides a comprehensive quality care in critical conditions. There are also facilities such as respiratory equipments, hemodynamic monitoring systems,and Cardio respiratory resuscitation equipments. The full spectrum of ICU services are provided as following;
- Provision of intensive respiratory care
- Provision of intensive cardiac care
- Provision of intensive renal care
- Povision of intensive care in Medical- Surgical cases (Gastroenterologic, endocrine, orthopedic, neurologic, and cancer crisis).
- Provision of intensive neurologic care in the event of cerebral vascular disease
- Provision of postoperative major surgery care such as neurosurgery
- Provision of intensive care for injuries
- Provision of postoperative intensive care for high risk patients
- Provision of intensive care for patients who suffer from multi-organ disorder
- Patient education for home care.
Patient Admission
Patients are admitted to ICU at all times (except for children) .Admission takes place with the coordination of the person in charge through the emergency department, offices or other wards. An anesthesiologist is present in the hospital 24 hours per day, 365 days per year .He is responisible to manage the critical problems of ICU patients, and to consult with other divisions to decide critically ill patients.
