The laboratory of Day general Hospital commenced its work in 1991.The management with the cooperation of specialists such as pathologists, microbiologists, immunologists, biochemists and laboratory scientists offer a vast variety of services. The main objective of laboratory activities is to improve the quality of diagnosis and hence prevention, control and treatment of diseases. To achieve this goal, the laboratory using the latest technologies available tries to put quality, speed, accuracy and most of all, reliabilityas its outstanding efforts 24 hours a day to give appropriate services to patients. It also provides the necessary ground work to standardize laboratory diagnostic methods and hence increase the knowledge of the personnel and trainees in different fields of laboratory sciences so that it could play its fair share in building a better and safer society for the future of this country.
