The labor (delivery) ward of Day Hospital is located on the first floor next to the women’s operating room, women’s ward, and neonates ward. This ward, which consists of 3 labor rooms and 6 control beds, benefits from the 24-hour presence of female nurses and midwives and operates under the supervision of midwifery specialists of the hospital.
The following activities are performed in this ward.
- Performing natural childbirth (term)
- Hospitalizing and monitoring pregnant women for C-section or preterm labor
- Controlling the emergency labor states 24 hours (such as pre-eclampsia-eclampsia, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension)
- Conducting NST
- Responding to the pregnancy-related questions of the patients 24 hours
